Welcome to AstroMC ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website astromc.me, using our community forums, joining our Discord server, or playing on our Minecraft server, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- Age Requirement: By using our services, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement to play Minecraft and use platforms like Discord in your country (usually 13 years old).
- Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your Minecraft account, forum account, and Discord account.
- Account Sharing: If you allow someone else to use your account and they break our rules, your account will still face the appropriate penalties (e.g., bans).
2. User Conduct and Community Rules
To keep our community safe and enjoyable, you agree not to engage in the following activities:
- Cheating and Hacking: Using unapproved mods, hacked clients, x-ray packs, or exploits that give you an unfair advantage over other players.
- Harassment and Toxicity: Engaging in hate speech, cyberbullying, harassment, spamming, or sharing inappropriate or adult content in chat, signs, or forums.
- Griefing: Destroying or stealing other players' builds or items, unless specifically permitted by the rules of a specific gamemode.
- Chargeback Threats & Scamming: Threatening to chargeback on purchases, scamming other players out of in-game items, or trading in-game items for real-world money (IRL trading) outside our official store.
Our staff team reserves the right to warn, mute, kick, or permanently ban any player who violates these rules, at our sole discretion.
3. Webstore Purchases and Refund Policy
Our webstore allows you to purchase virtual ranks, items, keys, and currency to enhance your gameplay experience.
- Virtual Goods: All purchases are strictly for virtual, digital assets. These items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Strict No-Refund Policy: All sales are final. Because digital items are delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges under any circumstances.
- Chargebacks and Disputes: If you open a payment dispute or chargeback via Ko-Fi, PayPal, Stripe, Tebex, or your bank, your account will be permanently and automatically banned from our server, website, and store network. We will also submit your data to global gaming fraud blacklists.
- Server Changes: We reserve the right to change, balance, remove, or reset in-game items, perks, and ranks at any time for the health of the game's economy. No compensation or refunds will be given for these balance updates.
4. Intellectually Property and Content
- Server Rights: All custom plugins, builds, graphics, logos, and website text are the intellectual property of AstroMC. You may not copy or redistribute them.
- User Content: By posting on our forums or submitting content (like suggestions or media), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, or modify that content to promote or improve the server.
- Minecraft Compliance: We operate independently and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Our store complies with the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA).
5. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the server or website will be online 24/7, bug-free, or lag-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroMC and its staff shall not be held liable for any loss of data, loss of in-game items due to glitches/resets, or any indirect damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services.
6. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our website, forums, Discord, or Minecraft server at any time, without warning, for any reason—including, but not limited to, a breach of these Terms. If your account is banned, you forfeit any remaining time on active ranks or subscription packages without a refund.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our server rules or legal requirements. We will notify the community of major updates via our website or Discord. Continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
